HP Laptop Screen Removal – The guide to removing your laptop screen

When you have a faulty HP Pavilion Screen, HP Probook Screen or HP Evny Screen you may want to try to replace it yourself to avoid paying somebody to do it for you. If this is the case when you buy a top quality replacement laptop screen via our website you will be able to see the fitting instructions just underneath the image of your item. Once your brand new HP Envy 15 Screen, HP DV5000 Screen or HP NX9010 Screen has arrived in its padded, box the day after your order was received, you are ready to proceed.

You need to begin by removing all the screws which hold the plastic screen surround in place, then carefully unclip it. You will then have access to the hinges which keeps the screen in place. once the screws have been removed carefully lower the screen and place it on your keyboard where you can undo the cables which clip into the reverse of the laptop screen. This process just needs to be reversed once the new screen has been inserted. There is nothing to it! With a little patience anybody can do this, even a beginner.
