Taking care of an older laptop

Has your laptop seen better days? Sticky keyboards? Trouble with the screen? Running out of battery quicker than it used to? Your laptop is probably just feeling the wear and tear of a couple of years heavy usage. The way we rely on our laptops for everything from entertainment to news to work, it’s no wonder! It can be tempting to throw the old thing away and get a replacement. Granted, the idea of getting a shiny new laptop can be pretty enticing; if you’ve got the money and feel the need for some retail therapy then it might be the best course of action. But if you haven’t got the cash to splash out on a new system it’s always worth sprucing up your current laptop and maybe getting a few more years out of it.

A clean bill of health

In some cases, all you need may be a new battery, a new screen or a replacement laptop power adapter to get your computer back to its full potential it. A dell inspiron 6400 ac adapter or an advent 7109 screen could be just what the doctor ordered… if the doctor was curing laptops.

At Laptop Power UK we have the largest stock of laptop components in the UK and we stock everything from replacement keyboards to spare batteries. We’re dedicated to keeping your laptop in its best possible condition. That’s why we have a dedicated and knowledgeable sales team on hand to help you tell the difference between a fujitsu-siemens amilo pi2515 charger and a dell pa 16.  They’re ready to respond to your emails via info@laptop-power.co.uk or you can have the pleasure of talking to one of our sales advisors one on one by calling 0845 257 7745.
